This is a customer review of the excellent and good priced Sennheiser HD 280 PRO.
I have been using headphones for over almost 40 years now and I have tried Sennheiser, Sony, Panasonic and much more. Most of the phones that I liked have long since been discontinued, and I always end of buying a pair of Sennheisers.
Buying a headphone is much harder, than buying a new pair of home speakers to your HiFi-rack. It is much more subjective to your particular taste in music. It is a difficult decision, because I like to listen to many genres of music.
These headphones are overall fantastic. They simply sound great; they are comfortable to wear on the head and of course, easily driven by portable players. It just can´t getting better. Sennheiser 280 headphone

A review should be honest, and I have to make some kind of a statement. When I first bought these headphones, I became a bit disappointed. In the beginning, the headphones sounded tin canny and the bass didn’t had the punch; I was used to from earlier Sennheiser products. I was just about to return them, with a letter to the German Head-office about my experiences.
Then, I read another review on the internet. I plugged them into my computer and left the music playing loudly for nearly a straight week. That was the trick. It paid off.
I did not return them and after two months of use, I can slam; THESE HEADPHONES ARE GREAT. I just love the tight, clear treble and the amazing accurate bass, which is provided.
Just take the time to get these headphones adjusted properly to you particular head and they will quickly become your favorite headphones.
My guess would be that fans of jazz, classical and even rock will have their needs satisfied with the Sennheiser HD 280 PRO.Sennheiser HD 280 PRO
The design is a little heavy, but very comfy. It is possible to wear the headphones for several hours at a time and my ears will feel fine.
I would also just like to note that, after several airplane trips, the noise reduction in these headphones is also wonderful, and the HD-280 Pros make airplane flights much more enjoyable. I bring them on every flight, no matter 2 hours or 12 hours.
My conclusion; Wait at least two weeks, preferably more before judging these headphones, because the more you use them, the better they become. And after a one month’s of use, they sound great. The price is fair, due to the great sound and the comfort to the ears.
Do yourself a favor and go get these headphones, right now. You will not regret your decision of buying these headphones.
